Our philosophy: Move in and feel home!
The Otto-von-Guericke-University welcomes a large number of international researchers and lecturers from all over the world yearly. Because of that the State of Saxony-Anhalt and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation established the International Meeting Center (IBZ) in Magdeburg, namely in April 1998, which offers a modern guesthouse with a connected conference and meeting area. The IBZ is located right on campus and open for international academics and research scholars (PostDocs).
