- Where can I get the keys to the apartment? What if I want to check in at night?
You will receive the keys in building 09 (Info-Point) on the campus "Universitätsplatz" upon presentation of your ID. There you will also receive the other necessary information about the apartment (including directions). The Info-Point is open around the clock, so check-in is also possible at night without any problems. You can then proceed to your apartment in the IBZ (building 32 - approx. 7min walk from building 09). - Do I need cash, EC/credit card or an additional deposit when checking in?
No, you can pay within one week after your arrival via online bank transfer or in cash at the cashier's office of the university (building 06, room 22). An additional fee may apply for credit cards. - Do I have to sign the rental agreement immediately after my arrival?
Yes, you will find the IBZ rental contract directly on the desk in the living/dining room. Please read and sign the contract. You can find the courtesy translation on our homepage (Documents). On the next working day you must return the signed contract to the IBZ office in the lobby. - Are comforter, bed linen and towels provided and if so, is there an extra charge for them?
Yes, they are provided. No, there is no extra charge for them. - Does the inventory of the apartment match the list on the website?
In general, yes.
